    AR15 pistol/SBR (update)

Okay, I took the first step on this and purchased an 11.5" light profile AR barrel. The next purchase will be a Sig SB15 AR pistol stabilizer. I'll keep that configuration while my SBR paperwork goes through the long arduous journey for approval then prchase a three position collapsible butt stock and install it.

Should look like this when done

I must say, I like 'Em like that. I wish we'd had those on issue when I had to carry them. We had the full length ones...

The 11.5" AR kicks ***, Bill. Inside 200m you own it. I wish I could get a light profile barrel for my 12.5".

Have you tried Alberta Tactical? The stock lots of stuff and I think make their own. Also, Barrels Canadian Tactical Cowboy Supplies, Ltd. show 11.5, I know you said 12.5" but you could ask them...

I would LOVE to be able to have an SBR in Kalifornistan, without becoming a felon! I'd put an 11.5" barrel on my GUU-5/P and make it a GAU-5/A/A!

    Move back to America

Good news! I just got off the phone with my brother and ran down my idea and he said "hey, I have a really nice black Olympic Arms A1 upper you can have". Sweet!

So now it will be like it should be!

Guys, I found this site and called them today. Very nice and I can get the entire A1 collapsible stock for about $150.00 to the door.

    ESSENTIAL ARMS CO.

this is a coated aluminum stock, two position buffer tube, nut and spring plate.

That stock looks great. I'd be tempted to use it with a 6 position tube, though.

They have both and since once closed no one could tell the difference I may go with the six. It's $10.00 cheaper too
