More whale oil ... Central sights never die

In the I'll be darned dept ...
I'm guessing some others here know about these but its news to me, Central aperture sights are alive and well and one can even buy spare parts, although who knows if they fit the old Central sights or not ....

I'm pretty sure they are interchangable, but there were at least 2 variations on the windage ie. 1/2MOA and 1/3 MOA, but this may well have been variation in the detents on the knob rather than on the leadscrew.

Time for an upgrade with a 45° or greater bevel in both slots for self-alignment. Might have to make it greater than 45° though or weaken the springs a bit as might tend to lock up otherwise.
“There are invisible rulers who control the destinies of millions. It is not generally realized to what extent the words and actions of our most influential public men are dictated by shrewd persons operating behind the scenes.”

    Edward Bernays, 1928

Much changes, much remains the same.

Yeah bloke, most of the fullbore guys in my club use T-mac sights, the other half use central No4's that have been rebuilt by the people who make the T-mac sights.
