    What is the correct finish on an original x marked Smith Corona bolt. Blue or Parkerized. Thanks.

    SC Bolt???

    What does the safety lug look like on a SC Bolt? Is is shaped like a normal 1903 or oval?

    Oval? There were two types, the normal "scalloped", seen on virtually all earlier M1903 bolts, and a "squared off one used on later SC bolts and some WWII replacement bolts.

    Yes it is oval. The lug between the bolt handle and the front of the bolt face. I will try to take a picture. Springfield Sportes has a greaty rep, so I believe it is correct. It is just oval.
