Belgian 1889/16 carbine.

The 1889/16 Belgian carbine arrived today. All matching, original cleaning rod. Has been duffle cut, seller claimed it was brought back in 1945. Goes well with my Belgian 1889 German capture. Have a look!

Just saw your old post. I have a similar Belgian Fortress Carbine. How do you confirm that it is a 1916 model? Are these rifles ever marked with the manufacture date anywhere? Thanks

Neat, I find it very interesting that this particular rifle has a 100m setting as most military rifles of the day started at 200m+ (more often at 300-400). Thanks for sharing.
