    Repro No.4 T range report

Got bored this afternoon so I burned up a few rounds...........
The rifle is a '43 LB 2 groover I turned into a wannabe No4 T in 2009, mount and pads are repros from Sarco. Scope is a real No.32, an H.B.M.Co. Mk.1 my wife gave me as a fathers day gift last year. Cheek piece is also an original.
    Ammunition was PRVI 180gr SPBT.
    RANGE: 300yds
The first photo shows the best 3 shot group of the day, horizontal spread 1 3/4'', Vertical spread 3.0''. The other 5 groups groups averaged 4'' and were more uniform.

Good shooting and looks like you did a good job on the gun.
Why use a 50 pound bomb when a 500 pound bomb will do?

Great finds. Walked many a step as a kid looking for them, but all the fields are planted in pine timber now.

Great job! Would appreciate more information on the "hands-on" of how you went about your repro...

If you're planning on doing one yourself what I'd advise you to go to the Lee Enfield forum and look in the stickys for Peter Laidlericon's series of on line articles thread and read the one entitled How To Make Up a Useable No.4 Sniper. Peter explains it better than I can.
