No I will leave it open til tomorrow to see what other guesses there might be

I would guess the tool is used to assemble the trigger housing

I use to to disassemble the trigger guards in army basic training for the guys in my squad for
final inspection cleaning. All I needed was a nail which was found in the wall. the G.I. was not authorized
to disassemble the trigger housing
