Pics of Nagoya Type 38 carbine.

Picked this up today, a Nagoya Type 38 carbine, cant really see the series, gotta clean it off a bit. Intact mum, and very interesting characters on the buttstock. I believe its Chinese (?) No import marks. Maybe a Korean War bring back? Still in 6.5 Jap. Any ideas as to what the characters translate to? Enjoy the pics!

Looks like a little weld on the safety knob. No idea why. Bolt functions fine.
