Although I can't agree with the method of carrying the belt, I just love the M1. Leather sling with brass frogs, and are we to assume the contour of the pistol grip suggests a Winchester??? Or am I just wrong?

I don't know about the stock but he's got a flush nut rear sight and looks to be wearing his haversack as a backpack. It's also enlightening to see the finish worn off of the GC lock. That finish just wasn't very durable, was it?
