I don't know why the tumblers wouldn't work as well as any other. They all work on the same premise.
If you drcidr to get an electronic scale get a good one that works with either AC or DC. RCBS markets secveral nice ones in the $100-200 range. But then so does Lyman and Lee.

I've had two of there digital scales neither worked for very long got my money back. I also have one of the Tumblers a friend gave me,it quit after running several hours.

After inspection I found that the motor had a rough spot on the armature that when heated up it locked up the motor I ended up lubing that spot with a little synthetic grease and ran it for several short periods of time till it wore the rough spot down and it has run like a charm ever since and it's now one of the quietest tumblers I have.
