    M! Garand C&R Question

I bought an M1icon Garand prior to obtaining my C&R license. I am now selling it to a C&R license holder. Must I record the sale in my log even though not acquired with my C&R license? I have no problem doing it, I just want to make sure I do the right thing. THANKS

Any C&R should be logged out of your book. Enter "owned prior to license" in the "acquired from" block, the buyer and his info in the "sold to" block. Good to go.

Does this mean that the M1icon Garand is C&R legal? Or just that since you are C&R you need to track purchases and sales regardless of their C&R status?

    1. The M-1 in original form is a C & R.
    2. You, as a 03 FFL are required to log each acquisition (purchase) and disposition (sale) of any C & R qualified firearm, regardless of how acquired.
    3. Non C & R firearms (antique or modern) are NOT to be entered into your book.
Keep another book if you like, but keeps 03's in their own.
