Good to see good weapons practices leaning on the muzzle of your weapon I know the chances of an AD are zero but you never know! The differences in equipment are pretty obvious like the chaps on the left are travelling light whilst the GI is pretty self sufficent gathering by the amount of kit he is carrying, either or whatever both sides did their bit for our freedom today god bless them all.....

6DLI served as Motorized Infantry in North Africa. The US soldier has an 82nd Airborne patch, hence the heavier, "self sufficient" load.

    Smoking

I'm standing in the motel parking lot having a puff... guy and his family come out the door, walk toward me but stop 20' away... guy says, "Sir, we'd like to get in our car, could you move away, please." I resist the temptation to say hold your breath, when I'm far enough away they get in their car and leave.
Real men measure once and cut.

I get a kick when people COUGH when they walk by me. I chuckle out loud so they can hear me. I take it to the enemy though,,when I see someone driving a clown car, errr,, a "Smart car" I point and laugh.
