Quite awhile back, on the old Joustericon forum, I posted about my garand not picking up the next cartridge. I had installed a "new" op-rod. I was considering sending the op-rod to J. Swartz for repair at a cost of $85. But, thought I'd try something first. I installed a "new" op-rod catch. Garandicon now shoots perfectly, even when fired very fast from hip. Maybe this info will help someone.
