    Help identify my rifle

I have a rifle that has a mauser action but no markings other than Cal.7.62 and a serial #FR7-01643. It has a flash suppressor and a barrel lenght of 18 1/2". The rear sight is part of the action and has a rotating wheel to choose open, small peep or large peep. The front sight is enclosed in a circle with a pointed post. Under the barrel is a tube about 5" long that appears to hold cleaning gear.

sounds like a Spanish fr7 converted in the late 50's early 60's if I'm correct. Does it have a strange bayonet mount that almost looks like a gas cylinder?

Thanks for the leads! I found it was indeed a spanish FR7. It now seems I have another project for reloading after I read up on the 7.62.
