Question Webley mkv hinge pin screw

Does anyone know if the Webley MKV hinge pin screw is the same as the MKIII screw or not?

My MKV is missing the screw and I don’t see any for sale.

    Thank you.

I looked at it BAR but didn't know what thread it was. Probably some mickey mouse thread that the Midlands gun trade, including the dreaded Parker Hale and AJParker et al kept to themselves. And in doing so, ensured that purchasers always had to go back to them for spare parts.

That said, it wouldn't hold me back for more than a millisecond I have to say. Just machine up another matching axis pin and securing screw with a thread that suits what tap and die set I had handy. 4 or 5 BA looks sort of similar...... 30 minutes at most. I found that real Armourers were pretty versatile blokes with a 'can-do' take on life. Even more so when it was to their benefit!

That follows. And so does the rest. I'd make a replacement on the lathe and be done...

Here are my MkIII and MkVI with a picture of the hinge pin screws removed. On mine they are interchangeable although the screwdriver slot on the MkIII is slightly wider both fit either revolver equally well. I can come up with length, diameter and TPI if needed. Tom

    Thank you, Tom.

Those dimensions would be a great help.
