Lightbulb Lee Enfield N°4 MK1 wood treatment

    Hi,
could you tell me what was the dye used on fore end and stock of N°4MK1 to get that special dark brown color?
The fore-end seems varnished. linseed oilicon????
    Thanks for your reply

Hi None that I know of just the natural color of the aging linseed oilicon. Watch the video wood goes to war. really great history, it's on the first page of the forum before regular threads. I am not positive about a dye being used or not. But someone here on this forum can tell you for sure
