Egyptian-issued pre-WW2 Enfield No.2 revolvers - any references?

I am looking at an Egyptian-marked 1932 Enfield No.2 Mk.1 revolver. Are there any references regarding Egyptian-issued Enfield revolvers? I have searched all the fun forums, including this one, that I know, as well as Google, but I have found virtually nothing. Any hints (numbers issued, who issued to, etc)? Have no idea on value, either, but since when has that stopped me??

Not seen any Enfield Revolvers but recently had a MkIV .455 Webley come in recently with Egyptian marks:

Not Egyptian but certainly Iraq. Being a commercial deal, they were commercially proofed. We had one at Warminster that was captured during the assault into Iraq. We presented it to the old Enfield factory historical people with a covering report of its capture, as a 'return home after a busy life' gesture

The Iraqi mark looks like a triangle with a figure 8 inside. Feel free to correct me anyone as I wasn't concentrating during my Iraqi lessons at school!

I don't think Peter is saying that your gun is Iraqi, I think he's saying that there was a known contract with Iraq. The Iraqi property marking as Peter has said is a Triangle with what looks like an upside No. 2 in it and is called the Jeem (Spelling is probably wrong).

The marking on yours is said to be Property of Egypt or Egypt Police depending on who you listen too.

Ah, I thought I was reading that wrong. Looks like someone snapped it up while I was researching - at least I now know what the Egyptian mark looks like.

If it's the same as Simon Ps photo shows, that's the Egyptian marking found on hundreds if not thousands of Enfields released in the last decade. As spinecracker didn't say it was not like Simon Ps then I assumed it was. Is it the very same marking or is it the Iraqi Jeem?
