    Endurance Test/M1 Garand/Clips

    Gentlemen,

The title above should tell you what the questions are. It breaks down into three parts.
You newer guys answer all of the questions or as many as like. It's the data on the Clips that I think you guys might find of Interest and I think are important.

The data for these questions are from the U.S. Army Specification dated Oct. 7,
    1944.

    1. How many rounds of ammo was the Endurance test on the M1icon Garand Rifle?
    2. How many clips were to be used?
    3. How many times were the M1 Garand Clips to be reloaded for the test?

Have some fun with this one.
    Thanks again

    Gentlemen,
The answer to the questions is as follows:
    1. 6,000 rds.
    2. 20 Clips
    3. Each Clip in rotation so that approximately 300 rds for each Clip.

Those Clips had to stand up in the reloading area.
    Thanks again
