    m-1 gas cylinders

    guys, a question. what is the difference between a ww2 SA wide base gas cylinder and a post war to korea gas cylinder???

    The finish and the inspector marks are about the only difference. The post war GC do show a smother outter casting most of the time but not always. All most all WWII GC will have a number or letter on the flat on the barrel ring. Post war GC's do not. Donald

    Some World War 2 Gas cylinders also have inspector marks in the form of a single letter and or a punch mark on the bayonet lug.
