    CMP Forms: Club CMP Number

Greetings, its been a few years (or more) since my last CMPicon purchase. I remember needing my Club's CMP number and being able to look it up on the CMP web page. The new form doesn't seem to ask for this number and I also don't see a place to look it up on the CMP page. Is this no longer required?

    Thanks!

They still ask for your number when you fill out the purchase forms.

    Thanks Dan.

Yes, I have MY customer number but they use to ask for your affiliated clubs ID number. Oh well, I just re-read everything and I don't see anything about it so I'll just let it go.

    Thanks!

Call CMP South ask them. You will find a phone number on their website. They should be able to help you.

    Hope this helps

If you are sure you belong to a CMPicon-affiliated club or organization, send a copy of your membership card. Most if not all state rifle associations are CMP affiliated because they sponsor shooting events that are under CMP's wing.

Hey Glo!! Glad to see you around!

I thought about calling but I knew how crazy busy they are with the "Obama-itis" purchases and all. They do ask for your Clubs name though, guess thats all they want now.

Grif, yes, I belong to several CMPicon affiliated clubs. They require a photo copy of your membership card so hope I'm good to go.

I love the proof of marksmanship participation part, I can't fit all my classification cards at once on the xerox machine anymore, think I've got 13 active classifications right now.

No rush in any event. This rifle is destined for the gunsmith to be turned into an all out XTC heavy barreled NM X monster in 30-06. With all of my fancy rifles I really wanted to go backwards a bit and check out what it was like in the early 60's when the Garandicon was king! I have a 20mm can full of virgin 30-06 LC NM brass and needed a proper rifle to go with them.

Just wish I had done this several years ago so I could have told Norm Ricci about it, that and get a picture of myself in the campaign hat and all just like the one he sent me of himself at Camp Perry in 1963 if I remember correctly.

    RIP Norm.
