    FYI ONLY - M73B1 Scope

I won't comment on the asking price but this scope looks to be a nice, legit Type 3 M73B1 Scope. Not mine and I don't know the seller.

I think a better strategy would have been to put a lower start price say $600-$800 with a reserve about his original asking price but thats just me.

    Not a bad scope.

    Regards,

    Jim

It is a nice scope, he has been trying to sell it at that price for about 4 months. I think if it went to ebay it would sell but by the time ebay took their fees he would clear about $89.00!

Here's another one, a little more money even. The description does say "superb" though....

I'd like to have a "hands On" look at this one. Good pictures but I think I'm seeing some issues. Far as the price??..

Looks like the area around the adjustment plate has been painted flat black. Maybe just the photographs.

    Johnny,

Does it look like more of the scope was refinished/painted? Wasn't the serial number done after finishing with bare, shiny numbers?

Yes, the serial number was put on last and should show white metal in the numbers. The pictures of the front of the tube appear blue.
