Bowie tip M1E..oddly marked

Anyone ever see these numbers on top of grip handles, or on the reverse of the riscasso?
UFH M1905, dated 1942, mod by AFH...to bowie M1E, but how about the numbers? U.S. or Lend Lease? Its no repo..

Don't know about the origin of the numbers, but the letters are American Fork and Hoe. The name of the company that did the modification to the bayonet.
