    American Hunting Rifles

Hello, was wondering if anyone has any experience with this custom rifle builder, their website is American Hunting Rifles. Looks like they do nice work, the prices seem reasonable. Any advice appreciated. Thanks, GasMan.

I don't have any firsthand knowledge of that company, but as you noted, the rifles they make are nice looking and the prices aren't too steep for custom work. I like the walnut they use.

For normal hunting use without going the custom route I can highly recommend the Kimber Montanna rifle. I set up several for customers last year and was impressed with the quality of them for the price. VERY lightweight, you can carry that one all day.
