Follow up on the 1903A4 I bought

Thanks for all of the information. I have been without Internet access since Monday morning. Seems that the AT&T server decided it did not like my account. Finally, about 4 pm today it was fixed. One other fact I should mention. The rifle came with a 1960s Realist Camputer 3x9 scope. I read somewhere that they were used in VN???

Also, I have a set genuine Redfield 7/8" top split rings which I was going to use on my 1903A4 clone. I also have both a post reticle and a medium wire cross hair Lyman Alaskan scope. Both scope have low serial number. Since it appears that the rifle is a arsenal rework, which scope would be more appropriate?

Again, thanks for all of the good information. --RBruce

The Medium Crosswire would be more appropriate.

I remember those Realist Computer Scopes. Were they any good? I don't remember them being used in RVN though.
