    Drill purpose rifle fired!

I sometimes go to other Enfield forums and see what the the real old member entries are. This is from the Yesterday Weapons Forum. Rifle fired with a reduced charge.

If that was a "let's see what happens" stunt, I sure hope it was fired remotely!

The firing was probably preceded by the famous last words of a Redneck
    "Hey y'all, watch this"

It would have been interesting to put a piece of wood on either side of the rifle to collect the shrapnel and record size and penetration of the pieces. I have always wondered what would happen if someone fired a DP rifle that had it's chamber drilled.

Has anyone ever seen one of the Arisakaicon training rifles with the pipe barrel fired? That looks like another accident waiting to happen.

Have heard of them. Only intended to fire blanks. Easiest clue is the real rifle has a two piece tang whereas the blank firing rifle has a one piece reciever/tang. Can't imagine what they were thinking when they made them.

Maybe a way to commit suicide instead of surrendering
