    I enherited a lee Enfield shtle 1923 in a perfect condition can someone tell me how to find the serial number thanks

    Hi Sam,

    First, congrats (and my sympathy too)

    Look on the front part of the receiver and on the barrel too, right next to it. (so, look around where the barrel threads into the receiver). Typically, you'd find the serial number on both. You'll also find a bunch of other stuff stamped there.

    Again typically, they will be the same, and composed of one letter, and a number (like U 4634 or J 45642).

    You could also have the serial number on the bolt handle; sometimes (often) this one doesn't match with the rifle's serial number (the bolt can easily be lost, and a replacement found...)
