    Could someone tell me what this carbine is worth

    Hello i bought this carbine a few years ago off a guy and was just wondering what it is worth
    Has a "W" stamp behind rear sight and inland on the barrel i can get the serial #s if you need them

    What you have is a typical rebuilt carbine. The recoil plate with the W was made by Winchester and the barrel was made by Inland. The serial number can tell us who the receiver was made by and when it was made. Look in the sling well of the stock for any markings.

    What did you use on the wood? linseed oilicon? Nice color-sheen....

    I've seen imported junk M1icon carbines time and time again at gunshows with a $500 price tag. Your carbine looks great. Depending on many factors such as MW, TE, shootability (does it shoot?), I'd venture a value from $600 to $800.

    I agree with tmark...Value somewhere between $600 and $800.00 assuming good barrel etc.

    Yes it shoots great the barrel is in very good cond

    Heres the numbers i got off of the gun

    Right behind the rear sight : Inland Div 795992
    On the rear sight I.R CO 7160060
    On the Front of the barrel : Inland Div/General Moters 8-43
