    BSA 1917 Sht LE III*

I have the above and correct in all numbers. Just noticed EFD in very small letters. What do they stand for? I should know.

The rifle is a BSA made rifle but the prescence of an EFD just means the part marked was made at Enfield. During the 20's and 30's, Enfield did lots of refurbishments on No.1's
