    Another Colt M1903 SN

    Heres another pistol, to replace the 1st, with scratched initials..the SN is;
    565833
    Coming early next week...any idea on this number?

    Mfgd. in 1942. The closest General Officers pistols to yours would be 565821 and 565844. A letter would be a good thing in my opinion.

    Garandrew, Tom D. corrected me on the Date of mfg. It looks like this 1903 Colt may have been mfg. in 1944 plus or minus. Sorry for the confusion and any trouble I may have caused you.

    Garandrew, Getting a letter from Colt will be about the only way to tell for sure where it was shipped.
