Pic of 200K font, and 700K font
    200K is larger numbers

Going from memory here, Inland used three different size numbers for the serial #.

I do not believe the stock marking shown is a US mark.

I have a M1a1 stock with same mark, I have always hoped it was one of the thousands that got reworked (cleaned and oiled) by FN right at end of WW2. Somebody posted some fotos someplace maybe CC newsletter of piles of M1icon carbines being reworked by FN right after the war. Europeans always stamp that kind of stuff, Hoped it meant my stock went thru DDay! or the Bulge!

This marking is a U.S. proof, on early Inlands..its on several under the 220,000 range...Ive spoken to several collectors of early Inlands,. with the same proof..
