870 trenchgun

Hello all, did the US military use the 870 in a military role, and if so does anyone have a picture of one? I am particularly interested in the bayonet lug and handguard assembly. Thanks, Jim

yes,
the Mark 1 trench gun, they made it as a Riot as well, still in service.
