Does anyone Really Know?

Got a barreled reciever at the North Store. No markings on this barrel except what is shown in picture on top of the barrel.
Gas port pads are not chromed.
Any idea what 7.59 stands for and what country did the barrel come from?
I have done a search on several forums but not really come up with a firm answer.

I have seen the same mark on a barreled receiver at the South Store.

Just curious but what would the receiver prove?
Its a 6 diget SA

not sure which. Crown N, F, were German prewar & WWII proofs, I'm too lazy to do down & dig out some FN stuff, but CrownL, comes to mind as the Liege proof, not sure on crownT.

It doesn't look rough enuff to be a Winchester M1 bbl reproofed overseas.

Not so sure, the crown is completely different?
