    Does anyone Really Know?

Got a barreled reciever at the North Store. No markings on this barrel except what is shown in picture on top of the barrel.
Gas port pads are not chromed.
Any idea what 7.59 stands for and what country did the barrel come from?
I have done a search on several forums but not really come up with a firm answer.
    Thanks

Maybe if you could show us the receiver?

the crown over T looks to be either a Belg or German nitroproof

not sure which. Crown N, F, were Germanicon prewar & WWII proofs, I'm too lazy to do down & dig out some FN stuff, but CrownL, comes to mind as the Liege proof, not sure on crownT.

It doesn't look rough enuff to be a Winchester M1icon bbl reproofed overseas.
