    Brass Dial Sight Pointer

From a batch of Lithgowicon Mark IIIs, we have found a brass pointer for a front volley sight.

I have never seen one before. It is not plated, is non magnetic, so I presume it is solid brass. It appears made to drawing and not a home made item. There are no discernable markings.

    Anybody come across one before?

I've seen one or two on Khyber rifles. Maybe an Indian service repair?
