Very cool looking, but, would a nice pair of lineman pliers be easier? SDH
Take my finger off the trigger when advancing...NOT BLOODLY LIKELY !!!!!!! With the wire breaker, you pick up the wire on the top of the bayonet blade; it slides up to a position in front of the muzzle where the bullet cuts the wire and HOPEFULLY blows it away from you. With the cutter, again you pick up the wire on the top of the blade and push the rifle forward. The wire slides down the top of the blade, into the jaws of the cutter and when the rifle is thrust forward it will chop the wire.. They do work. Tried one on a barb wire fence and you can keep up a brisk walk (remember someone is shooting at you) and you don't even break stride.
How do those things work in combat?![]()
ALright let's rig up a barbed wire gauntlet, and one fellow can run it, while the rest of us let 8mm rounds fly over his head, then we'll find out how well they work![]()
