    Question Rear Sight Slide Catch Spring ??

    Well, I know that the part that I have is part of a broken rear sight slide catch spring. What are the best sources of parts for the M1917?

    You can try Springfield Sporters as well. They tend to have somewhat better quality parts than Numrich (less rust & pitting), but the spring may not be as critical (cosmetically) compared to other more visible parts.

    Can't. It's broken at the bottom of the V and I only have the flat piece.
