I recently purchased a Stevens 620 Riot that, while mechanically sound, cosmetically it leaves a lot to be desired. First off, there are 4 different serial #s. 9445 on the butt, 17105 on the receiver, 16934 on the trigger guard, and 13698 on the barrel extension. It also has a Weaver compensator installed, but no choke insert for it. To install it the barrel was threaded. The original hole for the front bead is still under it, so at least the barrel hasn't been shortened. The buttstock is junk, someone practiced their woodworking skills on it. The receiver is marked U.S. on the left side, and has Ordnance marks on the receiver and barrel. It has been reblued at some time with very little prep. At worst I have a decent short shotty with a little work. It would make a good Trench replica, which would cover the threaded muzzle. Here's some pics:
