    Question for Mr. Laidler

My Enfield has a hare trigger that wanders, none of my manuals covers this problem, I need your expert advice on what should be done.

    Dear (Expletive deleted) Whiterider

Whiterider, my dear old friend from Gunboards, I can see you have never been to my house on Easter morning when my wife dresses up as the Easter Bunny and lets me look for things she has hidden. (and wants me to find)

    P.S. Get off my tail

Peter has alreay written extensively on the subject. You should (carefully) scrape a minute amount of wood from under the trigger guard so that it does not rise proud when one of the screws is tightened.

.... and then quickly shoot the bugger.
