as far as I can see it is a M2 Ammo bag. Did you see the local teen walking with helmet and Garand ?

Thanks Mark, I now see the teen with the M1 and helmet. The soldier to his right must have let him carry them for a kick. So at least he still had some humor, and thanks for the pic of the ammo bag.....Frank
