    M1 Op Rod Question

Is there anything special about this op rod?
    P/N 03 382 6 SA
The area just forward of the cocking handle is rounded instead of flat
It looks as if it started as "uncut" but has been cut in the field

Sounds like a typical post-war modified SA revision 6 oprod. Nothing special about it other than an unmodified examples being correct for some of the WII rifles.
