    New England rifle in .357cal

    Any thoughts or experience in loading for this rifle. Either with casted or jacketed. Thanks for any input. Myles

    I had one in 7.62X39 (negative experience)

    too heavy trigger pull, too light hammer impact (would only light up Federal primers) and shooting surplus etc. was a complete bust.

    even with a trip back to factory, I got rid of it asap.

    assuming your's works OK, I would try some 160 and 180 grain bullets.

    I have one in 223 Rem that I load for. It shoots pretty well
