I just sold one in near mint condition, $650. US. In a few years that gun has all the potential to go very high with a 8,000 total production, HTH-SDH

This one is stamped Made in UAR and what looks like Chinese markings after that.Should it be stripped to clean gas ports etc. before I shoot it?

The UAR (United Arab Republic) was the short lived political union of Syria and Egypt. The script is Arabic.

It's always a good idea to check out your rifle thoroughly before shooting it.

Slip a 0.006" round shim behind a virgin round and slowly attempt to close the bolt, if the bolt closes easy repeat with a 0.010" shim, if that closes easy I'd hold off shooting the gun until it's gone over by a qualified GS, HTH-SDH
