My new $100 unfired/mint Enfield

Just got this from a friend yesterday, he said he paid a guy $50 for it. Told him I would double his money and he said ok.
Right out of the woodwork and it has a thin flim of storage grime on it in the photos as I haven't cleaned it up yet. There's still cosmo in chamber.
It's a 1942 dated Frazakerly and a bit unusual as it has no US import stamps as well as no Brit added export stamps, (tons, England, etc). Does anyone know what the FNR stamp on the stock is?
Not a bad day as I also picked up a mint refurbed Russian SVT from another guy for $280 yesterday. The guy requestd only what he paid for in 1995 and reluctently I granted his request.
Things are supposed to run in three's so maybe something else good is going to turn up soon, I hope, Ray

If it were a Canadian Issue rifle(which it is NOT) it might be Fusiliers Mont Royal a Montreal Militia Infantry Regiment(which MIGHT field a full strength Company on a good weekend)

Boy, FNR is like an itch you can't scratch... I've seen No1 rifles marked NRF for National Rifle Factory - No1 rifles that were assembled from parts from various manufacturers.

Opps, I misread the numbers, read too many thousands. It's a Maltby. Also the M is only partly visable so I missed that also. Ray
