    Interesting stock

Looks like a type5 pot belly stock, Underwood cartouche with description of PU in the slingwell?? Am I blind?

    Scott,
Your missing a little more than that.
Look closely at the receiver in his auction. It's a SERIAL # 13918XX
    Also say's NO IMPORT MARKS
He doesn't say what year the barrel is.
Here's your link to his auction again.....look closely at the receiver on the right side back by the recoil plate,
    http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/Vie...Item=139096392

Now look at this past auction where he bought a Underwood SERIAL # 1391...
That one had a 2-43 barrel IMPORT MARKED. Did he swap out the stock ? Not sure..... You don't get a good view of the bottom or top. If it is the same stock he (the new owner...now the seller above ) might have just darkened it and stamped it. The last seller states that this stock is marked PU in the slingwell. I can see some dings that are very similiar on both.
But for sure it's at least the same receiver. The bolt has been swapped.
    Link to same receiver,
    http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/Vie...Item=137674699

Can't help but wonder what happened to that IMPORT MARK?
Maybe ask the new seller what date his Underwood barrel is?

    Have a Good Weekend

P.S. Just got a fresh in the wrap RMC trigger.....YEP...it's marked !!!
    thanks for the tip !

Your welcome Charlie, This guy did have legit carbines, then repo stuff started showing up, just like the other seller Sam-T-Bob.

    Good catch Charlie!

I'm happy you found the trigger you've been needing.
What do you have left to go?
