Anybody ever put a new barrel on one of these rifles? Can't find a good original one, so I've been contemplating making a new one. The major drama for me would be fluting the chamber, but is it altogether required if I avoid steel cased ammo? Hate to reinvent the wheel if'n I don't have to!

Ya, the old barrel is rooted, and Bubba slapped a side mount scope on the receiver, so its either parts or an experimental toy.
