    loose cocking piece 303 no.4

    Can anyone give me a good way take the play out of the cocking peice to firing pin fit.

    The correct way is to peen slightly the first three treads on the end of the rod. A tool for doing this was made from a slab side cocking piece. The easy way to do it is a drop of blue locktite. Allow the locktite to cure for several hours before you reinstall the lock screw. No need to locktite that little screw.
