Model 1918 Sniper sight tool identification

Just got back from France visiting the Somme battlefields and picked these up from Martin Pegler as part of a trade. The steel tool is clearly marked Telescopic Sight 1918 Model. There was another tool with it that was found in the same case. It is at first glance a lens cleaning brush but the brush is made of fine steel "hairs" that you would not want to put anywhere near a lens. I have noticed a small broad arrow stamp on it. I can only conclude that it would be use to clear grit or dirt off the legs or mounts on the P14(T). Both tools do fit in the lid of the Model 1918 canvas case that I have. What do our experts think? Are they correct? Does anyone else have one or both tools? By the way - I can thoroughly recommend Martin's B&B facilities in Combles and he is an excellent guide to the battlefields.

Never seen the brush before but the adjusting tool looks legit. I have a mate who has EGB Reynolds' own Patt '18 scope & case & IIRC it came with the tool. Sadly none of mine have ever done so. See you tomorrow?

The right hand forked screwdriver looks suspiciously like the issue 'screwdriver, forked, clamp screw, Telescope sighting No32 Mk3' It was absolutely crap and all of them seemed to be made of either childs play-do or cast iron. They'd either bend within about 25 seconds or if you were lucky, just snap in about the same time frame. Every Armourer needing such tools just made their own. Good to see one complete!

As posted on the "other" forum I believe it is the tool for adjusting the windage prism on the front of the lens - they do not seem to fit under the little strap under the lid - maybe the wire brush fits there?
What fits under the lid of the Aussie scope cans?
