Ithaca/Remington Rand redux

Awhile back I snagged a Remington Rand with an Ithaca slide..today I snagged an Ithaca frame with a Remington Rand slide. So now the Ithaca SN#2656863 has a proper slide. It appears that the hammer, trigger, slide stop and safety lever are Ithaca. Barrel is F marked Flannery. Mag is R stamped on toe. Holster is black Bolen Leather Products 7791466. Neither pistol had any re-arsenal marks.

Sounds like you did good. If the finish and wear pattern on both match then that would really be great. The holster is a post WWII item probably issued in the mid 1950's.

[IMG][/IMG]The slide and frame are not to bad of a match..the Remington Rand is not so good..thin, very thin finish on frame..good finish on slide. Thanks for the feedback.[IMG][/IMG]
