I am a new comer to the sight and to the 1917 Eddystone, but I have aquirered a 1917 and by reading everyones past postings on markings I can tell a little about the rifle. But on the stock I have a P inside a square and SSAA stapmed on it. What are thoughs stamps? Also on the rifle everything is staped with an E except for the cocking peice it has a W (I'm assuming winchester), does this mean that it was reman? If it was remaned does that take way from the rifle? Thank you for your feed back.Information
