    Martini Enfield & Target

Two weeks ago I took the Martini out for a trial of the faux-Mk VI ball I had made up. Glad to have her along, too.
Winds were blowing small branches and bits of corn stalk all over the place----tried to push my car off the road a couple times, too. Of course, they were goiing directly across the line of fire....mostly. The firing line might be in still air, while the weeds at the target boards would be laid over flat----a typical Plains Zephyr.
At 100 yards the modern stuff could not cope, but the Martini and 180 grain slugs saved the day.

You've just got to shoot a couple of the Martini Enfield conversions to 303Brit to appreciate how well they really shoot.
Nice rifle and targets by the way.
I have a Khyber Pass knock off in 303Brit and it shoots just as well. I'm always amazed at these rifles.
