WC 870 surplus powder any good for 308?

I think this was pulled down from old US 30'06 loads. Anyone have any data or knowledge of it? The price is right but......

it's most likely from .50BMG or 20mm. it's usually not used in 30.06. I guess it might work OK for cast bullets but it is slow.

It is a .50 cal pull down powder. It can be used in the 30-06 but it is much better in the belted magnums as it is a very slow powder in burn rate. You won't get the best performance out of it in the 30-06. There are much better powders for it then the WC870.
