    1942 K98k "SS" Sniper

    Description: 65% blue, very good bore, very good stock, 23.5'' barrel , Nazi SS marked. Built by J.G. Anschutz from a Czechicon VZ24 action in Decemeber 1942. Rifle is all matching to include the scope mount base. Czech and Nazi proofs and serial numbers. Deaths Head marked on left side of barrel just forward of reciever and on front of stock grip. Ajack 4X90 scope is SS marked on brass drum base atop scope, and has excellent optics. Mount is hwz marked and matching to scope, #229. Scope and mount are not matching to rifle. Mount base is numbered to gun. Walnut stock and handguard. Scattered minor pitting on bands and trigger guard/floorplate. Original L&F leather sling. We have more info and documents on this rifle-call. Guaranteed authentic rifle which most likely saw action on the Russianicon Front

    Makes me feel better about the ludicrous price I put on my pre-war SS Sniper, not that I really want to sell it- I'd then have to go and find another for real WWII scoped Germanicon rifle. One's enough, I hope!
